About me

I am an artist and art teacher based in Berlin, Germany.  I make my paintings from a small studio in the centre of the city. 

I studied BA. Fine Art Printmaking and PGCE Secondary Art at the University of Brighton, in Brighton, UK. I teach art to teenagers by day and make my own work by night. Both practices inform each other.

Both drawing and painting are my way of understanding and communicating with the world. An image can say the unsaid.  I drew horses obsessively as a child, it was the only way I could get close to  them.

I went to art school when my peers had all started their careers, You appreciate it more when there"s a sacrifice.
